Contract: Permanent | Part Time (24 Hours Per Week – 3 Days)

The Opportunity
OH Talent Solutions are recruiting for an Occupational Health Advisor to join a leading Occupational Health provider delivering onsite services in Daventry.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor looking for a part-time role with a supportive employer, offering a varied clinical workload and excellent opportunities for continued professional development.
Applications are also welcomed from Nurses looking to transition into Occupational Health. Previous Occupational Health exposure, management referral experience or PIP/Disability Assessor experience would be advantageous, with full support and training available.
The Role
As an Occupational Health Advisor, you will be responsible for:
Managing a varied Occupational Health caseload.
Undertaking management referrals and sickness absence case management.
Delivering Occupational Health assessments and fitness for work advice.
Conducting onsite medicals, health surveillance and wellbeing clinics.
Supporting pre-placement assessments and new starter medicals.
Delivering safety critical medicals where required.
Undertaking immunisations, vaccinations and venepuncture where appropriate.
Working collaboratively with Occupational Health Technicians, Physiotherapists, Clinical Leads and wider multidisciplinary teams.
Promoting workplace health, wellbeing and fitness for work.
Maintaining accurate clinical records in accordance with NMC and Occupational Health standards.
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this opportunity you must have:
Essential
Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC PIN and no restrictions.
Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle.
A minimum of 6 months’ UK Occupational Health experience.
Strong case management skills.
Experience delivering health surveillance including audiometry, spirometry and drug & alcohol testing.
Good IT skills including Microsoft Office.
Desirable
Occupational Health Degree, Diploma or Certificate.
Previous management referral experience.
PIP or Disability Assessor experience.
Experience undertaking immunisations and venepuncture.
