Package Details: £55,000 – £65,000 Per Annum + Excellent Company Benefits
Contracted Hours: Permanent, Full Time
Location: Manchester – Office Based

OH Talent Solutions are working with a valued client — a market-leading, clinically-led mental health and wellbeing provider — who are currently looking to recruit an Occupational Health Service Manager to join their growing team. This is a truly exceptional opportunity for an experienced OH Manager to step into a senior leadership role within a fast-growing, financially backed organisation supporting over 90,000 businesses and 13 million lives across the UK.

The Role:
You will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership, support and development of a team of Occupational Health Advisers and Administrators, maintaining high clinical standards and driving performance across a busy OH assessment service. This is a unique blend of clinical leadership and operational management, offering real scope for commercial growth and career development.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overall responsibility for the day-to-day running and support of OH Advisers and Admin team

  • Ensuring clinical service delivery is in adherence with KPIs, SLAs and clinical governance standards

  • Providing daily, weekly and monthly reports to the Head of Service Operations

  • Mentoring, coaching and monitoring OH Advisers against daily goals and quality standards

  • Completing call and report quality assessments using the quality scoring matrix

  • Identifying learning needs and delivering clinical training and induction programmes

  • Supporting the team with risk, safeguarding and clinical query escalations

  • Holding team huddles, 121 meetings, probation reviews and bi-annual performance reviews

  • Assisting with investigation and resolution of clinical complaints and queries

  • Supporting the annual SEQOHS revalidation

  • Adhering to ISO and SEQOHS approved policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Specialist Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health

  • Current NMC registration — Part 3 of register preferred

  • Previous leadership or management experience within an OH setting

  • Currently practising in Occupational Health

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and high level of IT literacy

  • Good business acumen with the ability to manage yourself and others

  • Professional, highly organised and ambitious

Package:

  • £55,000 – £65,000 per annum dependent on experience
